Understand how your spaces work together.

From the first room to the next guest changeover: learn how to set up occupancy, controls and access for your everyday work.

01

What is a unit?

A unit is what you reserve: a whole house, an area or a room. Sites, areas and rooms describe the location. A unit connects that location to its use. Separate units for a house and its rooms do not automatically block each other.

02

Reserved does not mean occupied

A reservation supplies the times for your plans. It does not detect people in a room. Choose a suitable heating lead time and a lower temperature after use. Actual warm-up time depends on the building and its heating system.

03

Access starts with permission

Choose which control a person may use and for how long. The setup link alone does not replace email-code confirmation. An active session does not extend expired control permissions.

04

Plan a guest changeover

Link cleaning to a reservation, select people or a team and define an assignment window. Automatic movement after a departure change is optional. Conflicts or missing units require a new review.

05

Maintenance needs no booking

Plan a technician visit or standalone cleaning independently of reservations. An assignment grants suitable access but does not block a unit for reservations. Working hours and travel time are not automatically scheduled.

Controls connect to devices

A control describes what you want to do, such as setting a target temperature. Its mapped device and provider connection carry out the request. An accepted request does not yet confirm the physical effect on a device.

Your spaces

A whole building. Or just the room.

Match controls to the space in use: a whole building, an area or a single room. The reservable unit connects this structure to the schedule for your smart home controls.

Entire site

The building as one unit

Using the whole building together? Make the site itself the reservable unit. You do not need to create additional areas or rooms.

This is your reservable unit

A unit is what can be reserved, not an extra level. These examples are alternatives: separate units for a building and its rooms do not automatically block each other’s bookings.
