Plan a guest changeover

There is a workflow between departure and arrival.

A changeover connects occupancy, cleaning and suitable access windows. Clear time windows help you plan these tasks together.

Connect the stay to cleaning

Link cleaning to the reservation and choose the relevant units. Decide who works, when the assignment takes place and which controls they need.

An assignment and occupancy remain separate. Cleaning does not itself block a unit for new bookings. Reservations and their minimum breaks manage that availability.

Choose how changes are handled

Automatic movement relative to departure is optional. When selected, the new assignment window is checked against the assigned people and teams.

Without this option, or when conflicts arise, the order needs review. Suspended orders have no effective associated control permissions until suitable replanning is confirmed.

Separate cancellation from exceptions

A full booking cancellation ends its linked cleaning and permissions. Independent assignments remain separate.

If only some units are removed or a new window is unsuitable, review is needed. Do not expect automatic optimisation of working hours or travel time.

An everyday example

Two assignments for the same team

A later departure would move cleaning into another active team assignment. The conflict needs replanning rather than silently transferring permissions into an overlapping window.

Good to know

Your questions, answered.

Is a minimum break already a cleaning assignment?

No. The break protects unit availability; the assignment organises people, times and permissions.

Do suspended assignments automatically reactivate later?

No. Membership or booking changes do not silently reactivate suspended orders.
