Cleaning & maintenance planning

Prepare the next changeover together.

Plan who looks after your units and when, and connect each assignment to the controls they need. Cleaning can follow a booking; maintenance can be organised independently.

Create linked cleaning from the reservation. Select its active units, people or teams and the relevant assignment windows. Associated permissions follow that plan.

For a deep clean without a stay, create an independent assignment. Maintenance also remains independent of bookings.

When departure changes

You can explicitly choose automatic movement relative to departure for linked cleaning. Assigned people and teams are checked for overlaps with other active assignments.

Without automatic movement, or when conflicts occur, review is required. Suspended assignments lose their associated permissions. Confirmed replanning establishes the next steps; suspended work does not silently reactivate.

Keep cancellation connected

Cancelling a complete booking also ends its linked cleaning and control permissions. Independent maintenance and standalone cleaning retain their own plans.

Assignment planning is not automatic workforce scheduling: working hours and travel time are not accounted for. An assignment also does not create its own occupancy block for the unit.

An everyday example

A later departure changes the cleaning plan

Departure moves from 10 am to noon. With automatic movement selected, the cleaning window is checked at the new time. If the team has another assignment then, confirmed replanning is required.

Good to know

Your questions, answered.

Does cleaning always move automatically?

No. Automatic movement is an explicit option. Conflicts or unsuitable time windows require review.

Does booking cancellation also end maintenance?

Independent maintenance remains active. Automatic termination concerns cleaning linked to the fully cancelled booking.
