Maintenance needs no booking

A technical visit is not a stay.

Some tasks arise independently of bookings. Plan access specifically for an assignment instead of creating an extra stay.

Separate tasks from occupancy

A maintenance order describes an assignment. An independent access order can also organise general control permissions for a task. Neither requires an associated booking.

If the space must remain unavailable to others during the work, account for that in reservation planning. The order itself does not create an occupancy block.

Choose suitable permissions

Define the units and time windows needed. A person or team receives only the intended grants. A template can provide a starting point and be adjusted per unit.

A maintenance category helps you select people but grants no rights. An order also does not replace a supported, working device connection.

End the assignment clearly

Expiry or cancellation ends the associated permission. Other independently granted access for the same person continues under its own rules.

Working hours and travel routes are not automatically scheduled. Coordinate those details separately with the people involved.

An everyday example

Heating checks at two sites

A caretaker needs to inspect two units in sequence. The order can give each unit its own time window. You plan travel between the sites separately.

Good to know

Your questions, answered.

What if another booking is cancelled?

An independent maintenance order remains separate and does not end just because that booking was cancelled.

Can I plan cleaning without a booking?

Yes. Standalone cleaning can also be organised independently of a reservation.
